A trisaccharide composed of α-D-galactopyranose, α-D-glucopyranose and β-D-fructofuranose joined in sequence by 1→6 and 1↔2 glycosidic linkages, respectively. It can be found in beans, cabbage, brussels sprouts, broccoli, asparagus, other vegetables and whole grains. It has a role as a plant metabolite, a Saccharomyces cerevisiae metabolite and a mouse metabolite. It is a raffinose family oligosaccharide
